Legal Requirements

warning

In order to be eligible for using Appsalt SDK, your applications must be compliant with our legal requirements.

Informing end users

Clarity and full disclosure of what happens with end user devices after they enable our SDK is of utmost importance for us. For that end, we require all of our application owner partners to provide clear information to end users regarding the fact that your application includes Appsalt SDK, which allows Appsalt to create exit nodes through end users devices.

Each and every user who enables Appsalt SDK via your application and joins Appsalt network that way must provide explicit consent for creating exit nodes on their devices and sharing their Internet traffic. Accordingly, before installing the Appsalt SDK on an end user device, you are required to receive an affirmative acceptance by providing a pop-up window with detailed information on how Appsalt SDK works and an “I accept” button that the end user has to click on to proceed with Appsalt SDK installing.

To ensure this, Appsalt may require you to display a specific text to end users as provided by us. We may also require you to use our built-in consent window that would be displayed to end users. We may agree with you to have your own unique consent flow, but in such cases, such consent flow has to be coordinated with and confirmed with Appsalt in order to ensure that it meets our requirements.

User opt out

End users must be able to switch off the Appsalt SDK functionality easily and at all times. Accordingly, we require all application owners to ensure that such option is always available and easily accessible to end users within your applications options.

Other requirements

In addition to what is provided elsewhere on this page, your application and the integration of Appsalt SDK within your application should not breach any other rules set out within the Appsalt SDK Partnership Agreement executed between us, or the Appsalt SDK Partnership Terms of Service (whichever is applicable).

Approval process

We test each application manually before and after Appsalt SDK is integrated and check if it meets our requirements. We may block your application from the Appsalt SDK program and terminate your partnership agreement with us in case we detect any illegal activities or other activities breaching our Appsalt SDK Partnership Agreement or Appsalt SDK Partnership Terms of Service (whichever is applicable).
